What movie did you walk out on when a jw? Have you seen it since? What changed?
by Wasanelder Once inok i walked out on austin powers because i thought it was so crude and god dishonoring.
since the fade i think it is very funny, still not a favorite but not the end of the world either.
any movies that were a big sin are nothing now?

Plants Talk to Eachother
by Satanus inso, i put this under 'social' ;) they aren't exactly sure how.. .
' having a neighborly chat improves seed germination, finds research in biomed central's open access journal bmc ecology.
even when other known means of communication, such as contact, chemical and light-mediated signals, are blocked chilli seeds grow better when grown with basil plants.

yeah, age of mythology is real time strategy game for the windows platform (i think it was even published by microsoft). it's got the greek (including atlantis), egyptian and norse mythology in there and you have to try to get favour from differend gods etc.
the only windows computer i got is in my office, so i whenever i find the time i play that game there ;)
as for ps3 franchises, apart from uncharted (which is my fav without a doubt) i loved resistance 1-3. god of war, i only played the demo on ps3, but i played some on psp. talking about psp, i did spend quite some time playing patapon. pata pata pata pon!

dead space, huh? talking about horror games, i enjoyed "siren blood curse" and "fear 2" (still haven't finished it because i get the creeps turing around a corner). uncharted (part 1, drake's fortune) has some pretty intense parts too (in that uboot station on the island). another PSN download i enjoyed was "i am alive". also "deus ex", but haven't completed the addon yet.
you'd typically find me on some CoD multiplayer map (preferrably the black ops fork), if i find the time. haven't played for a while though due to work.

science doesn't teach dogmas as truth. it tries to explain the universe we live in as accurate as possible with current means. if tomorrow we find that humans were bred from apes by aliens to mine gold in south africa, science will adapt to it, given hard evidence. if tomorrow a group of seven scientists says that humans were bred from apes by aliens to mine gold in south africa without compelling evidence, science will not waste a second on it.
evolution is a fact, just like gravitation is a fact. or just like the atomic theory is a fact. most of the world runs on nuclear power. that doesn't mean that science doesn't evolve too and finds refinements on the matter.
